Issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi at 5:30am on Friday the 5th of December 2025.

Situation: A southeast wind flow prevails over the group. Meanwhile,
a trough of low pressure is expected to approach the group from the
south on Saturday with associated cloud and showers expected to
affect the southern and eastern parts of the country.
Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group:
Fine apart from brief showers over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori,
Tailevu-Naitasiri and Ra, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, southern
Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and
Lomaiviti groups.
Elsewhere, fine apart from isolated afternoon or evening showers.
Afternoon or evening thunderstorms possible over Viti Levu and Vanua
Levu.
Moderate south to southeast winds.
Moderate seas.
Outlook for Saturday : Occasional showers over Sigatoka to
Korolevu, Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri and Ra,
Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni
and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups.
Partly cloudy with afternoon or evening showers elsewhere.
Isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls possible.
