Situation: A trough of low pressure lies over the Fiji group and is
expected to affect the country for the next few days.

Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group:
Occasional rain and few thunderstorms over most places.
Isolated heavy falls likely.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flash-flooding of low-lying and
flood prone areas.
Rain gradually easing over Western Division from later today.
Moderate southwest to northwest winds.
Moderate seas.

Outlook for Saturday : Occasional rain and isolated thunderstorms
over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern
Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Kadavu and
nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups.
Isolated heavy falls likely.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flash-flooding of low-lying and
flood-prone areas.
Partly cloudy with afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms
with heavy falls elsewhere.
Moderate to fresh southeast winds.
Moderate to rough seas.

Occasional rain and few thunderstorms with possible heavy falls.
