A HEAVY RAIN ALERT REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE WHOLE OF THE FIJI GROUP.

Situation: A shallow low pressure lies slow moving near Kadavu and is
expected to drift across over southern parts over the group in the
next couple of days embedded along the trough of low pressure that
remains slow moving over Fiji. Associated cloud and rain continues to
affect the Fiji group. Meanwhile, Topical Depression 03F [TD03F]
remains slow moving to the far northwest of Fiji [close to Vanuatu].

Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group:
Occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms over most
places.
Persistent heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
Moderate north to northwest winds, fresh and gusty in areas of heavy
rain.
Moderate to rough seas.

Outlook for Tuesday : Occasional rain, heavy at times and few
thunderstorms over most places.
Persistent heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
Moderate southwest to northwest winds, fresh at times.
Moderate to rough seas.

For Navua / Suva / Nausori :
Occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms.
