No regrets for Kabara Cricket youngster

Kabara cricket player Pita Tuidela says he does not regret leaving high school to better his skill for the sport and represent his village team and the nation.

The 19-year-old left school at Ratu Kadavulevu School five years ago and says joining his village team has been the best decision he’s made and he hopes to represent the country in future tournaments.

He adds that his team, who is currently competing in the Super eight, is here to win the tournament to back up their Easter Competition title.

“I don’t regret leaving high school at all, my main focus now is to continue to better myself at this sport and after representing the country in the u19 grade in Australia last year, I hope to continue to do that and make a living for myself in the sport.”

Tuidela adds that his international exposure with the u19 to Australia last year has greatly benefited his team.

The Cricket Super Eight competition semi-finals will kick-off at 9am at Albert Park, there will be a break tomorrow before the final on Saturday.

Kabara will face Moce at Albert Park one in the semifinal.
