In a brief presentation, Nata outlined the TLTB’s current programs and new business directions aimed at better serving the iTaukei community.

The President acknowledged the significance of the TLTB’s history, noting that it is the only board in Fiji originally connected to the British Crown upon its establishment in 1940.

Ratu Naiqama also reflected on the unfortunate removal of the President’s role within the Board by the previous government, expressing disappointment at the lost opportunity for stronger representation and leadership.

The meeting highlighted the TLTB’s commitment to supporting iTaukei landowners and advancing their interests in land management and development, reinforcing the importance of strong governance in securing a prosperous future for the community.
