Child dies in coconut tree accident

A one-year-old has passed away after a coconut tree fell on him.

According to the police, the child was with his mother when the incident occurred outside their home at Davuilevu Housing in Nakasi yesterday.

The child was pronounced dead-on-arrival at the Nakasi Health Center.
