Fiji’s Foreign Policy White Paper has been approved by Cabinet.
This document outlines Fiji’s international priorities in several key areas including sovereignty, identity and values, security, transnational security, climate change and bilateral relationships.
It also encompasses major powers, prosperity, foreign policy and development assistance; and implementing foreign policy.

The white paper was developed through a comprehensive whole-of-government process to shape Fiji’s future international engagements.
