
Minister for Housing Maciu Nalumisa held a community meeting at the Village of Galoa, Serua.
The residents shared the difficulty they face in their daily lives.
Nalumisa says the meeting was an eye-opener for him.
Discussion was on various topics but there were three main concerns that the Minister has assured that he will now work towards addressing.
This includes providing a proper water source for the residents of Nakoba Settlement, construction of a proper seawall for Galoa Village and providing solar lights.
He adds that the residents of Nakoba settlement have been suffering from lack of basic amenities, including clean, safe water.
The Minister adds that he is working with the Ministry of Infrastructure to ensure that the residents of Nakoba Settlement receive proper, permanent water supply.
