Twenty-nine people have applied for the position of Commissioner of Police.

It has been confirmed by the Prime Minister and Constitutional Offices Commission Chair Sitiveni Rabuka.

The Prime Minister says these applications will be considered in the next COC meeting.

Juki Fong Chew is currently the acting COMPOL.
