The Fiji Pearls are diving into a comprehensive program of team bonding, nurturing their team culture, reaffirming their core values, and setting their sights on their goals.
Head Coach, Una Rokoura highlighted the pivotal role of these activities as they gear up for the Pacific Games, which is just around the corner.
With less than four weeks remaining for their preparation, Rokoura believes that fostering strong team bonds will be the key to their success.
She says the team has already plunged deep into their preparations after selecting the final twelve players from a 24-member extended squad.
This extended squad was meticulously chosen following their impressive performance in the 2023 Digicel Punjas National Championship and was further split into two teams to compete in the FijiAus Quad Series.
Rokoura says these events are golden opportunity to assess her players thoroughly and fine-tune every aspect of their game.
Rokoura stresses the importance of maintaining a delicate balance between experienced players and emerging talents, recognizing the unique strengths each brings to the team.
