Beach patrols will be conducted at popular picnic spots during the long Easter weekend.

Chief Operations Officer, ACP Livai Driu says this as twenty lives have been lost to drowning this year compared to 10 for the same period last year.

ACP Driu is pleading with members of the public not to treat water safety lightly as complacency can and will result in the loss of life.
